New Style Schools in the Period of Westernization Movement

After the Second Opium War,going with foreign affair movement,the traditional education of China also started to modernize.The establishment of new-type schools in the westernization movement period,was not merely the main content of foreign affairs education,but also declared a war to traditional education,it has previous function of holding atmosphere to melt to modern times in Chinese education even more,which also turned over a new page of the history of China's education.But because of the limit of the introduction,the newtype schools of westernization movement period didn't have the ultimate renovation of the traditional education and can't achieve the responsibility to make the country prosperous to save the nation.
