Abstract
Objective: To observe the effects of zhongfengkang on apoptosis of nerve cells and expression of P53 and Bcl-2 in focal cerebral ischemia rats. Methods: To make the model of focal cerebral ischemia by inserting nylon thread. The effects of zhongfengkang on nerve cells apoptosis and expression of P53 and Bcl-2 in focal cerebral ischemia rats were observed in 24h after cerebral ischemia by FCM. Buchangnaoxintong was taken as control. Results: The apoptosis rate of nerve cells and expression of P53 and Bcl-2 were increased obviously in model group, the expression of Bcl-2 in each treatment group was increased compared with the model group, the expression of P53 in each treatment group was decreased, the changes in high dose group was the most marked. Conclusion: Zhongfengkang can resist the apoptosis of nerve cells in focal cerebral ischemia rats by regulating expression of P53 and Bcl-2.
