Technical Barriers to Trade and Strategies to Mandle them

Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), is an important phenomenon in international trade since the eighties of the 20th century and has attracted much attention. This phenomenon in today' s economy takes two forms,has eight expressions, and influences world economics in two ways. On one hand, TBT has its raison d' etre and plays a positive role in shaping world economy and international trade. As such, it stands ready guarantee consumer health of all countries and people' s life security. On the other hand, sometimes, TBT is utilized by ideological trend of trade protection, and then becomes serious barriers to the development of world economy and international trade. Therefore,a realistic approach and positive measures should be implemented to cope with TBT.
