The article of On Zhu Xi's Basic Attitude Toward History thinks that Zhu Xi despises historical studies and exerts negative influence on the development of history.This view is subjective and unfair.There are three reasons: first,it does not hold the key point due to departuring from Zhu Xi's Confucian idea;second,it overlooks Zhu Xi's advocation for historical studies as it looks Zhu Xi's historical idea as unilateral;third,it does not view Zhu Xi's achivement in history and active influence with an objective attitude.
