Abstract
The paraffin wax is oxidized without catalysts by the self made experimental apparatus, and the acid number (AN) and the ester number (EN) of oxidized wax are correlated with the reaction conditions using artificial neural network (ANN). The ANN model of paraffin wax oxidation without catalysts is established; moreover, it predicts the rule of paraffin wax oxidation. The results show that the proposed model could simulate the experimental data and predict the rule of paraffin wax oxidation very well.
