Observation of the curative effect of kaixilaipian combined with compound prescription of radix salviae miltiorrhizaeon chronic viral hepatitis in 40 cases

Objective To observe the curative effect of kaixilaipian combined with compound prescription of radix salviae miltiorrhizae on chronic viral hepatitis.Methods Eighty cases of chronic viral hepatitis were radomly divided into 2 groups.The patients in freated group(40 cases) were given kaixilaipian and compound radix salviae miltiorrhizae added to 5% GS(250ml) intravenously.The controls(40 cases) were treated with potenline and compound radix salviae miltiorrhizae added to 5% GS(250ml) respectively with intravenous drip.Results The improvement of liver function and regression of jaundice were found in both groups.The hospitalization time and normalization rate after the drugs stopped were superior to those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of kaixilaipian combined with compound prescription of radix salviae miltiorrhizae is definite.
