Abstract

Objective To discuss the relationship between gastric remnant and helicobacter pylori(Hp).Methods One hundred and twenty-seven patietns with remnant stomach were choosed and examined by the gastroscope, rapid urease test and 14 C-urea breath test.Hp infection in the patients with different types of remnant stomach was compared. Results (1)The rates of bilireflux of Billroth Ⅰ and Billroth Ⅱ operation were 25% and 54.95% respectively(P0.05).The rates of Hp infection of Billroth Ⅰ and Billroth Ⅱ operation were 61.11% and 38.46% respectively(P0.05).(2)The rates of Hp infection of stomach under ten years and over ten years after operation were 57.41% and 35.62% respectively(P0.05).(3)In different pathological types of remnant stomach, the rates of Hp infection of ulcer and cancer in remnant stomach were higher than those of chronic gastritis and anastomostic inflammation in remnant stomach. Conclusion The lesion of gastric remnant is related to Hp infection, therefore it is important to cure Hp thoroughly.
