The Technology Prospect in the Modernity Theory of Bauman

Technology is one of the major themes in the modernity theory of Bauman.Following such logic as the technological nature,origin,development,consequences and problem resolving,Bauman has drawn a dynamic picture of technology.Technology is an overall system,which is self-confirmation.What can be done technically is the internal logic of technology.The relationship between technology and modernity is interactive.Modern technology provides the modern culture for the origin and development of technology,and modernity is also construced by technology.The movement of technology fragmentation has led to the highlight of the risk society and the retreat of moral self.We should adapt our behavior to modern technology,and the ethics should change from modern ethics to postmodern ethics.The advocacy of technical responsibility is expected to solve the crisis of modernity.
