Analysis on the Clinical Effect of“A-C-L”Catheter Maintenance Procedures Used to Prevent PICC Blocking

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect ofA-C-Lcatheter maintenance procedures used to prevent PICC blocking.Method:Sixtyfour patients with PICC catheter were selected from our hospital from October 2012 to May 2012,32 cases in each group.They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,the control group was given conventional catheter maintenance method,the observation group was given an A-C-Lcatheter maintenance procedures,the incidence of catheter jam of the two groups were compared.Result:Two groups of patients with PICC catheter after different maintenance methods,during the patients accepted PICC catheter indwelling,PICC blocking of the observation group incidence was 18.75%(6/32),no PICC tube jam phenomenon occurred in the observation group,there was significant difference between the groups(P0.01).Conclusion:Patients with PICC catheter treated withA-C-Lcatheter maintenance procedures has effective in preventing tube jam phenomenon,it can also ensure the quality of clinical treatment,it can make the complications lower,and is worth popularizing in clinical.
