Abstract
The single factor test and the orthogonal experimental design were carried out to optimize the extraction technology of total carotenoids from leaves of Populus canadensis Moench..The result indicated that using petroleum ether as extraction solvent, crushed degrees 60 mesh of leaves and extracted two times, the optimal extraction technology of total carotenoids was 500W of ultrasonic power and the ratio of solvent to material 40 : 1 at temperature of 55 ℃ for 30min.By above extraction technology, total carotenoids content was 50.57mg/100g.
