Abstract
The ancient book value has been fully verified by the collection market, while the cultural value has not yet been developed and utilized fully. This paper analyzes the status and the problems of the protection of ancient books, proposes the development direction of the protection of ancient books. It hopes that all levels of public collection entities could pay more attention to the development and utilization the literature resources of ancient books in the premise of original protection.
