Abstract
In order to provide basic materials for reproduction physiology and embryo engineering, the Yellow Cattle's oviduct was observed by freezing section and HE staining. The Yellow Cattle's oviduct umbrella and funnel were in membranous structure without tunica muscularis and adventitia, which consisted of psecudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium on both sides and loose connective tissue in the center. The oviduct ampulla and isthmus were composed of mucous layer, tunica muscularis and adventitia.Mucosae epithelium was psecudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium which consisted of ciliated columnar cells, secretory cells, and basilar cell, and lamina propria was loose connective tissues with serous gland in the oviduct isthmus. The mucosa layer had primary longitudinal folds, which derived of secondary and ter-tiary folds in the oviduct infundibulum and ampulla. There were only primary folds and no secondary or tertiary folds in the isthmus. The inner longitudinal and outer circular smooth muscles formed the tunica muscularis.Adventitia consisted mainly of serosa structure, but the connective tissue was at the oviduct propria side.It was concluded from the above results that there were basilar cells in the mucosae epithelium, besides ciliated columnar cells and secretory cells, and there were serous glands in the oviduct isthmus.
