Linguistic Iconicity means that language forms reflect not only the features of the objective things in a certain degree,but the way people experience,sense and cognize the world.And rhetoric like parallelism,hyperbole embodies iconicity.The paper uses several rhetorics correlating with quantity iconicity to prove that there exists motivation between a form and the meaning of rhetoric.
