Abstract

The long iump is one of the track and field events,which requires high of the athletes' such comprehensive qualities as strength,speed,spring,etc.The scientific selection of the athletes is prerequisite and essential to the training of a good long-jump athlete.This essay tries to make a elementary inquiry into the early selection of the long-jump athletes among the teenagers,hoping to supply some theoretical bases for the schools' physical education teaching ang training.
