Abstract
Objective To understand the medical staff,Hengyang city smoking behavior attitude and related to smoking control knowledge of the situation,and to provide the evidence for implementing of smoking intervention.Methods By stratified sampling method,480 medical staff was selected from different hospitals to complete the face-to-face survey.Results The smoking rate of the medical staff of Hengyang was 24.9%,and 39.3% for males and 1.1%for females,respectively.Hengyang city medical staff of the men smoking rate is much higher than women smoking rate,men and women smoking rates were statistically significant difference(p=0.000);The facts effect the Medical personnel's smoking status are gender,age and hospital category influence.Conclusion The status of Hengyang is better than the national level,but the smoking rate of male is very high;The smoking behavior of Medical staff effect by multiple factors;Most of the medical staff believe that smoking is harmful to health,but the have to improve the consciousness of providing smoking cessation for patients;For countries to ban smoking and create smokeless hospital said support.
