Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare different methods of detecting sterilized effect for endoscopic sterilization machine by peracetic acid.METHODS Using bacterial contamination of carrier method, the thermophilic bacterium slice method, bacterial contamination of endoscopic method, postoperation endoscopic sterilized method and sampling the surface of sterilization were adopted to detect the storehouse efficient sterilization machine.RESULTS A total of 58 samples, positive results in 36,the qualified rate was 37.93%.There was significantly difference between different detected methods(χ2 =35.54,P0.01).The qualified rate of bacterial contamination of carrier method(94.44%)was significantly higher than that of other methods, which were 12.50%,8.33%,16.67% and 4.29% respectively.CONCLUSION Bacterial contamination of carrier method is not reliable as a standard test method of detecting endoscopic sterilization machine. And the time of bacterial culture should be extended to 7 days.
