Abstract

LING Li is a contemporary writer of historical novels,who has fully obtained the artistic quintessence of Honglou literature.Her historical novels have acquired the artistic romantic charm of Honglou both in terms of the profound exploration into the historical tragedies and the complicated portrayal of female figures,and in terms of the lifelike and kind use of historical themes. This aesthetic pursuit of LING Li's writing helps the profound development of the writing of historical novels,and it also stands for a healthy development tendency of the creation of historical novels.
