Abstract

By using the relationship between hypothesis testing and confidence intervals,a method for one-sided t test by the outcome of the confidence intervals in SPSS is proposed.Meanwhile, based on the symmetry of t-distribution,a method for one-sided t test by the outcome of the two-tailed t test in SPSS is made. And then the two methods are illustrated by examples.
