Abstract

Poetic image is the essential factor and soul of poetry,and it's also the carrier of the poet's subjective emotion. Chinese and English have different cultural backgrounds and aesthetic interests,therefore,the choice and understanding of the Love Image words in Chinese and English poetry must be conditioned by the different cultures.
