Abstract

This paper conducts a study of spatial distribution features of national mine parks in China and their influence factors based on GIS spatial analysis. The results indicate that the distribution of 72 national mine parks is a type of agglomeration and the distribution of national mine parks is asymmetric.According to the Lorenz Curve, more than half of national mine parks are concentrated in eight provinces. The distribution of high density areas includes one zonal region and three plane regions. Most national mine parks are located within the range of regional central city in the range of 100 km.The natural endowment of mineral resources, social economy development level and the cognitive level of the local government and mining enterprises are the main factors which affect the spatial distribution of national mine parks.
