Abstract
Objective:To probe into the changes of contents of CRP and PA in infected children and its clinical value. Methods: The contents of CRP and PA in 36 infected children and 30 checkup children were examined with Rate Nephelometry. Results: (1) By comparing the bacterial infection group with groups of virus infection and the control, PA level was much lower while CRP level was much higher in the former and the differences were statistically significant (P0.001).(2) The differences of CRP and PA were statistically significant in the group of bacterial infection before and after treatment( P 0.001). Conclusion: To examine the serum CRP and PA is good for making early initial diagnosis for acutely infected children, and to observe the dynamic changes of their levels is significant for judgement of the curative effect.
