Abstract

Objective To observe and evaluate the impaired glucose tolerance(IGT) in essential hypertension(EH) patients with blood pressure variability(BPV) effects. Methods Select January 2011-January 2013 alone treated patients with EH 74 cases for the control group;Selected 74 cases of patients with EH and IGT as the observation group.Conducted on two groups of patients 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM),observed in patients with BPV characteristics. Results The patients of observation groups 24 h systolic blood pressure variation coefficient(0.12±.03),daytime systolic blood pressure standard deviation(15.28±2.63) and coefficient of variation(0.13±0.02),mean nighttime systolic blood pressure(131.12±10.73) were higher than those of control group(0.09±0.01),(13.19±2.25),(0.10±0.02) and(128.15±10.52),the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion For patients with EH,IGT had a significant effect on BPV,EH combined in the treatment of patients with IGT,in addition to taking antihypertensive treatment, but also should pay attention to the regulation of BPV,and actively improve glucose metabolism abnormalities.
