Abstract
49 strains of E.coli were isolated and identified, from these strains,5 strains with strong pathogenicity and good antigenicity, were selected as candidate strains, which had dominant serotype.Though cultivating and inactivating, prolis being used as immune adjuvant, multivalent prolis-adjuvant inactivated vaccine were prepared. The field experiments indicated that this kind of vaccine had no effect on the growth of chicklings and breeder chickens. The chickens were challenged with E.coli at the 150 th day after vaccination, the protection rate was 100%.The duration of preservation lasted for 1 year.Practice indicated that this kind of vaccine had no effect on the growth of chicken and breeder chickens. The mortallty rate induced by E.coli reduced remarkably.
