Effect of Yiqi Huoxue recipe on the peripheral T lymphocyte subgroups after radiation in right lung of rats

Abstract
Objective: To observe effect of Yiqi Huoxue recipe on the Peripheral T lymphocyte subgroups after radiation in right lung of rats.Methods: 54 Wistar rats were randomly allocated into irradiation with normal control group(A group),irradiation group(B group),and Yiqi Huoxue recipe-treated group(C group).The B group and C group were irradiated by 6MV-X accelerator linear at right hemithorax with a dose of 30 Gy/6 Fraction/5 weeks.Animals were followed for 26 weeks after the irradiation.The changes in peripheral T-lymphocyte subgroups(CD4+,CD8+,CD4+ /CD8+ ratio) of each group were assayed respectively by flow cytometry at the end of the 6th,8th,12th and 26th week after the irradiation.Results: The peripheral CD4+ /CD8+ ratios in B Group and C Group were descending in every phase point.But CD4+ /CD8+ ratio of B group were significant lowerer than that of A group(P0.05).Comparing B group with C group,the peripheral CD4+ /CD8+ ratio in C group were all higher than that of B group(P0.05).Conclusion: Yiqi Huoxue recipe can palliate the effect of the peripheral T lymphocyte subgroups after radiation in right lung of rats,and help quickly to recover it.
