Abstract
Although Huang Zong-xi was in the early years of Qing dynasty and Zhand Tai-yan in the last years of Qing dynasty, both of their thoughts have important effect on the social revolution at the end of Qing dynasty. However, Zhang Tai-yan 's criticism of Huang Zong-xi arouses a question which either ancient or contemporary people feel difficult to answer.
