Clinical observation of 64 cases about the treatment of Yikunyin for the patients with postmenopausal syndrome

Objective To compare the improvements of two groups of patients in stages of menopausal transition and postmenopausel after taking the Yikunyin,to observe the Yikunyin treatment for menopausal syndrome and to investigate the best stage of menopausal syndrome treatment.Methods Sixty-four patients with menopausal syndrome were selected,and received Yinkunyin for 12 weeks.Serum sex hormone (E2,FSH) was detected as observing indicators.Domestic improved version of Kupperman was evaluated before and after the treatment.Results There was a significant difference in score of clinical symptoms before and after the treatment (P0.05).After the treatment,the overall level of serum E2 of patients in menopausal transition was increased(P0.01);and the overall level of serum E2 of postmenopausal patients was decreased (P0.05),the average level of serum FSH decreased sharply (P0.01).Conclusions Yikunyin is very effective in treating menopausal syndrome,especially for the patients in menopausal transition.
