A Restricted View on the Research of Xinjiang Grand Landscape Paintings

Vast in area,Xinjiang has abundant resources for the creation of grand landscape paintings.Its geomorphology displays a beauty of masculinity,which is in contrast to the beauty of femininity of the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,ensures that the creation of Xinjiang landscape paintings should not adopt the traditional methods of Chinese landscape painting.It should,while a painting is being created,represent a frank and bold quality.This paper analyses the beauty of femininity of the landscape of south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the beauty of masculinity of the landscape of Xinjiang,and introduces in more detail the characteristics of the landscape of North Xinjiang,so as to offer some advice for the creation of the landscape painters in Xinjiang.
