Abstract

The method for the determination of sodium, potassium, magnesium and iron in cement by atomic absorption spectrometry(AAS) was studied.Under the optimum experimental conditions, the RSDs of sodium, potassium, magnesium and iron were respectively 1.81%,1.05%,2.68% and 1.12%.The recoveries of sodium, potassium, magnesium and iron were respectively 102.0%—104.0% and 98.4%—100.4%,98.0%—102.0% and 98.0%—100.3%.The method has simple operation and rapid determination with accurate and stable results.
