Abstract
Objective To investigate the serum cystatin C(CysC) for early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy(DN) and the clinical value. Methods Using automatic biochemical analyzer, latex enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay were measured in 100 cases of diabetes mellitus patients and 60 healthy people(control group) in the serum CysC,serum creatinine(Cr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN) concentration and comparison. Results The serum CysC concentrations in type Ⅱ diabetes without nephropathy group and the healthy control group to compare difference not to have statistical significance(P0.05);in patients with diabetic nephropathy group serum CysC,BUN,Cr concentration was significantly higher than that of healthy controls, inspection by T,the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).In patients with diabetic nephropathy group serum CysC,BUN,Cr positive rates were 95.7%,65.7%,75.7%,the positive rate of CysC in serum and BUN and Cr had significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion Serum CysC is a dynamic observation of renal function in patients with diabetic nephropathy is the most ideal index,in the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy renal injury have important clinical reference and application value.
