Abstract

Objective:To investigate the relationship between local pressing or not after abdominal subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin sodium(LMWH) and local subcutaneous hemorrhage. Methods:The study adopted self-control design.72 patients did not receive local pressing after injection at 8∶ 00,and receive local pressing for three minutes at 20∶ 00.We evaluated the size of local subcutaneous hemorrhage after 12 hours each injection and compare the difference by both methods.Results:72 patients were undergone 569 times abdominal injection,of which 286 times were local pressing for 3 minutes and 283 times were not local pressing.Four patients occurred subcutaneous hemorrhage, there were no significantly difference between two methods(P0.05).Conclusion:abdominal injection of LMWH without local pressing did not increase incidence of subcutaneous hemorrhage, and reduce unnecessary job of nurses.
