Development of Industrial Cluster in Central Region of China:Its Bottleneck and Countermeasures

Industrial cluster is an important growth pole for development of regional economy. This research describes the existing features of industrial cluster in central region of China, analyzes major challenges confronting with the development of industrial cluster in the region,summarizes the trends of promoting industrial cluster by local governments, as well as the neglected factors in (local) government's promotion measures. In the final part, some specific policy suggestions have been given for the development of industrial cluster, and the insufficiencies in the measures taken by local governments.
