Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship of the high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV) subtypes 33 and 52 with cervial diseases. Methods DNA extraction, PCR application and flow-through hybridization and HE staining were used to analyse the relationship of HPV 33 and 52 with cervial diseases in 194 cases of HPV 33 and 52-positive cervical diseases. Results 25 cases were benign cervical diseases, and 114 cases were cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and 55 cases were malignant cervical tumour in total 194 cases of HPV 33 and 52-positive cervical diseases. By using χ2 test we found that the positive rate of CIN and malignant cervical tumour was much higher than that of benign cervical diseases statistically (p0.05). Conclusion HPV 33 and 52-positive cervical patients are more likely to develop cervical diseases, HPV33 and HPV52 are the pathogenic genotypes of malignant cervical diseases.
