Abstract
Objective To analyze the influence of oligohydramnios after premature rupture of membranes on pregnancy outcomes retrospectively. Methods The amniotic fluid index of 80 patients with premature rupture of membranes was measured using the ultrasonic test. They were divided into the oligohydramnios group(AFI≤5 cm) with 35 patients and the slightly less amniotic fluid volume and normal group(AFI5 cm) with 45 patients according to the amniotic fluid index. The differences in mode of delivery, intrauterine infection and fetal distress were observed. Results The cesarean section rate, intrauterine infection rate and fetal distress rate of the oligohydramnios group were higher than those of the slightly less amniotic fluid volume and normal group. Conclusion Oligohydramnios after premature rupture of membranes has important influence on the pregnancy outcomes.
