Abstract

Objective:To study the value of 3.0 T MR imaging in diagnosing on Budd-Chiari syndrome with hepatic vein occlusion(HVBCS).Methods:3.0 T SE sequence T1WI,T2WI and three-dimensional contrast-enhanced magnetice angiography were performed on 57 patients with HVBCS.Observe the condition of occlusion of HV,the presence of intrahepatic collaterals and liver parenchymal abnormalities. All the vein of the 57 patients were certified by DSA.Analyze the image of MRI.Results:A total of 126 hepatic veins were presented.Includ 21 hepatic veins extensively occluded,93 hepatic veins occluded at outlet,6 hepatic veins of above with thrombosis in it,12 hepatic veins is normal. The sensitivity and the specificity of MRI to present HV were 91.3% and 100% respectively.38 assessory hepatic veins were presented, and 17 assessory hepatic veins stenosis at outlet.53 cases presented intrahepatic collaterals, and 4 cases without it.All the cases presented liver parenchymal abnormalities.Conclusion:3.0 T MRI can accurately present the occlusion of HV,intrahepatic collaterals and liver parenchymal abnormalities, and have significant value in diagnosis of HVBCS.
