Abstract

Western flower thrips(Frankliniella occidentalis) is a very dangerous pest around the world.This pest was firstly reported in the year 2003 in the mainland of China.The serious losses of crops were engendered by Western flower thrips.This paper outlined the host plants,damage and control of the western flower thrips.
