Abstract
Objective To develop HPLC method for determination of trans-ferulic acid and cis-ferulic acid in 7 medicinal materials .Methods Analysis was carried out on a C18 (4.6mm×250mm,5μm)column eluled with acetonitrile-0.3 % acetic acid (20:80) as the mobile phase , the detection wavelength was set at 320 nm. Results The linear relationship of ferulic acid was in the range of 0.028 5~0.513 μg ( r = 0.999 9) ,the recovery was 98.17% ,RSD was 0.73%( n = 6). Conclusion The method is simple ,accurate and reproducible, and can be used for the analysis of ferulic acid in medicinal materials
