Abstract

The different functions of history of physics for physics education has been discussed too.The author puts forward a view that history of physics can improve educational effects,including optimize instructional procedure,training scientific thinking,cultivating interest of learning,researching scientific method,increasing humanistic accomplishment,establishing philosophical sense etc.It is an important part to pursue quality education and creative education.
