Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical value of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of female pelvic cystic-solid masses. Methods The CT and MRI manifestations of 54 female patients with pelvic cystic-solid masses which were proved by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results 37 cases were benign, and 17 cases were malignant.41 cases originated from ovary, and 16 cases of them were ovarian cysts,5 cases were ovarian cystadenoma,5 cases were ovarian teratoma,14 cases were ovarian cystadenocarcinoma, and 1 case was ovarian metastasis.6 cases were pelvic infected diseases, and 2 cases of them were ovarian and tubal abscess, cases were appendiceal abscessL and 1 case was pelvic local abscess.6 cases originated from uterus, and 1 case was uterine fibriod degeneation,2 cases were endometrioid carcinoma.1 case was other originated.49 cases(90.7%) were diagnosed accurate in position, and 45 cases(83.3%) were diagnosed accurate in qulity. Conclusion CT and MRI have high diagnostic accuracy in position and quality of cystic-solid mass in female pelvis,Parts of lesions have characteristics in MRI imagesLso MRI can help to the qualitative diagnosis.
