Abstract
This paper designs a carrier recovery loop structure which is suitable for high order quadrature amplitude modulation.Based on reducing phase shaking and increasing frequency capture range, this structure adopts double die carrier synchronization and carrier recovery loop which is controlled by loop bandwidth.By introducing weighted decision director algorithm during the stage of phase detection,it attains rapid carrier recovery performance. The simulation result shows feasibility and effectiveness of this algorithm which may quickly realize precise track for high order QAM carrier phase under more frequency offset of approximately 30% symbol rate. And meanwhile, this algorithm is applied for cross QAM signals.
