Abstract

Postmenopausal women with aged increasing,estrogen levels decline,also the rapid loss of bone mass.Estrogen replacement therapy in postmenopausal osteoporosis prevention and treatment plays an important role.To make more profound understanding of relationship between estrogen and osteoporosis,the author summize the estrogen and its receptor in the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis,discuss the possible effects and progress.
