Abstract
Postmenopausal women, because of estrogen levels decline results the bone's resorption than formation, and BMD (bone mineral density) decreased. It occurrenced osteoporosis for postmenopausal women. Estrogen replacement therapy in postmenopausal osteoporosis prevention and treatment plays animportant role. To make more profound understanding of relationship between estrogen,ER (estrogen receptor) and osteoporosis, the author summize the estrogen and its receptor in the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, discuss the possible effects and relationship.
