Revelation on art teaching reform of China's colleges from European art design "workshop" mode

In order to keep pace with the advanced world level and the social development,the art design education must have some innovations in the modes of curriculum arrangement,teaching system and professionals' training.This paper makes an investigation into the development and characteristics of European art design teaching,the innovation of European art design professionals' training,and the training concepts and methods of art design professionals' training with its own characteristics.The paper provides the following suggestions: to have distinct competence-centered characteristics should become the tendency of China's art design education development;the curriculum system should be optimized by highlighting the features of curriculums;the core of the art design teaching reform should be to develop the creative thinking capabilities through workshops.
