On the International Transfer of Steel Industry

Investigates the change in the global distribution of steel industry and relevant international transfer path, as well as the characteristics of the transfer and influencing factors on it. The results show that although the comparative advantage is an important cause of the transfer, the technology progress, industrial similarity and industrial mix are the root causes. According to China's present economic developing level and the status quo of its steel industry, it is emphasized that nowadays China has the superiority in opportunity, location and latest potential to take over the steel works transferred from other countries. It's a key moment for China to seize the opportunity due to the international transfer to become powerful in steel industry.
