Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of intravenously levocamitine(L-CN) on inflammation index in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients. Methods A total of 50 cases of maintenance hemodialysis patients were selected and randomly divided into two groups: the levocamitine group with 28 cases and the control group with 22 cases. The period of treatment was three months.High sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α) and interleukin-6(IL-6) in plasma were measured before and after the treatment. Results After levocamitine treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in levocamitine group decreased significantly(P0.01).The levels of hs-CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in control group were no significant difference during the observation period(P0.05). Conclusion Levocamitine could effectively relieve the microinflammatory state in MHD patients.
