The scrap resource distribution in China and over the world is analyzed in combination with energy saving, consumption reduction and environment protection requirements for steel industry The scrap resource and demands is predicted for coming 10 15 years The role of the scrap is established as an important resource for sustainable development of steel industry, in particular for arc steelmaking as an unreplacable raw material
