Abstract
The root growth, root vigor, root tissue water status and root/cap of White mustard were investigated under soil water stress using pot test. The result showed that root extension, main root length, terminal branch roots and root vigor were increased under soil water stress, and the variety with drought resistance possessed high BWC/FWC and root/cap in flowering stage and maturity stage.
