Abstract
The fact that the theory of the people's overall development has been greatly developed and innovated in the process of our country's socialist medernization censtruction means that the theory has entered the practice of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics,from the pure theoretical mansion.The people's overall development is not a by-product of modernization,but an important factor of the progress and success of modernization.The people's overall development directly determines the depth and width of our understanding of the socialist modernization construction.
