Painting from Nature and Innovation: a Comparison of Realm of Landscape Painting between Shi Tao and Wang Yeting

Abstract

This paper, taking three aspects of composition, painting technique and painting from nature and innovation spirit as point of departure, discusses the influence of Shi Tao's painting theory on Wang Yeting's porcelain plate paintings of landscape. The artistic pursuit of Wang Yeting's use of Shi Tao's theories Make a draft with all unique peaks exhausted and No way is better than mine is specifically investigated.
