Abstract

Horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetland is used in rural domestic sewage treatment. It can remove 62.9% of NH+4-N,59.1% of TN,65.1% of COD and 76.0% of TP from rural domestic sewage and the effluent concentrations generally satisfy theⅠB level of Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant(GB18918-2002).Season changes has a significant impact to the removal efficiency of NH+4-N,TN and COD,but the removal efficiency of TP changes little as season changes.Using gypsum as the additive of constructed wetland can effectively improve the removal efficiency of TP.
