An Empirical Analysis of the Spillover Effects of FDI on China's Economic Growth

Abstract

By collecting various data of FDI from 1981 to 2000 in the Chinese Statistics Yearbook, the author has made an empirical analysis to some main spillover effects, finding that FDI has brought about evident spillover effects to China's economic growth. Therefore, China should continue implementing the policy of encouraging FDI to promote its economic growth by utilizing foreign capital and advanced technique etc.
